The Accounts Assistant is a part of the accounting team holding an important role in managing the company accounts.

Responsibilities:-

• Perform full set accounts for the entity
• Responsible for the daily accounting transaction; i.e accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, etc.
• Prepare prepayment, accruals and fixed asset listings
• Assist in month-end closing, year end closing and closing reports in a timely manner
• Provide general accounting support, including but not limited to, data collection, analysis, reconciliation, etc.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary as and when required
• Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned by Managers / Director

Qualification & Requirements:-

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
• At least 2 years’ experience in the related field
• Working Knowledge of MS Office and UBS system.
• Experience with MillComp Accounting is an added advantage  
• Knowledge of income tax submission and payroll processing are added advantage

The Junior Accountant will be assisting the Group Accountant in preparing the financial reporting requirement and assist management of the accounts team. The Junior Accountant will be reporting to the Group Accountant and the Chief Financial Controller in this role. 

Responsibilities:-

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, fixed asset reports and other operation / reports
• Check, verify and consolidate month-end and year-end closing submitted by the accounting team
• Drive implementation of corporate accounting process, internal controls and process improvement within accounting and operational processes
• Oversee the duties and responsibilities of staff within the accounting team 
• Maintain compliance to accounting standards, statutory reporting and local authorities within the accounting team and provide guidance where necessary
• Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Managers / Directors

Qualifications & Requirements:-

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA)
• UBS Accounting Software User &/or familiar with Millcomp Accounting System (MPOM Connect Solutions).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in accounting field
• Excellent MS Office proficiency
• Good command of spoken and written proficiency in BM & English
• MIA Member with external audit &/or working experience in public listed company are preferred.

• Our HQ is located in Batu Pahat, and we have plants at Kluang and Muar.

The Steam Engineer is in charge of the overall mill operations alongside the Mill Manager. The Steam Engineer is also responsible for operation and maintenance of boilers as well as to recommend suggestion / improvement of power plant management at the mill. 

Responsibilities:-

• Oversee overall operations and production of mill, i.e; power plant, process, maintenance, effluent treatment, resource allocations, etc.
• Ensure production target set by Management is set
• Monitor boiler operations and ensure all boilers are in working condition
• Plan and execute major maintenance project through collaboration with engineers and workshop team
• Communicate with government agencies and regulatory bodies on Mill compliance to requirement set
• Review reports prepared for Management team and ensure reports are available as and when required.
• Handle any ad-hoc task assigned by Manager s/ Directors

Qualification & Requirements

• Must have First Grade Steam Engineer certification
• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field
• Applicants who do not have educational cert but have steam cert with required experience are encouraged to apply
